About Algebra Trainer

Algebra Trainer is a complete Algebra I course built around one idea: you learn algebra by doing algebra. Instead of watching someone else solve a problem, you choose each step yourself — add, subtract, multiply, divide, combine like terms — and see the equation respond.

How it works

The course is split into short modules. Each module has a handful of practice activities with hints and instant feedback, followed by a quiz that checks whether the ideas have stuck. Your coach, Jaz, is there along the way to encourage you. When you have homework of your own, the Homework Helper lets you enter a problem and work through it with the same tools.

Who it's for

Students taking Algebra I for the first time, anyone who needs a refresher, and parents who want to help with homework. You can start right away as a guest; signing in with Google saves your progress across devices.
